Meetings

The RA meets monthly to attend to all appropriate matters of Union business. Meetings are normally held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, except in November it is the 3rd Tuesday due to Election day activities.

RA meetings are chaired by the President and conducted under Robert's Rules of Order.  Below are two useful documents on Robert's Rules of Order.

  • Robert's Rules of Order: An Overview (PDF)
This four-page document provides background, general principles of parliamentary procedure and guidelines on conducting a meeting, making motions and voting on motions.

Meetings are open to attendance by any A&R union member. A&R members may address the RA on any matter under discussion.
